Rock The Week

Fashion related (and totally non-fashion related) things that have made my world go round over the last seven days…

Rock The Week | SHip-Shape and Bristol Fashion

  • Ringing in the year at a house party with friends was how I started 2013, along with lots of blogging resolutions for the year ahead. I also found a new Paperchase diary this weekend and took insanely nerdy delight in filling it with all the events, dates and holidays that are taking place this year (so far) in a rainbow of different coloured pens, naturally.
  • Speaking of nerdy, this week I also experimented with the whole hipster thang, courtesy of a pair of glasses I won on Ron’s blog. The whole denim shirt/jumper look was actually a surprisingly comfortable outfit, but it didn’t stop me from checking out the sales and picked up a few beauty bargains in the process.
  • I was made a ski widow this week after Mr Ship-Shape went on a skiing trip to France, which hasn’t rocked my week , but it did give me a chance to catch up on lots of girly films, read magazines and generally potter around the house. I also had a visit from my friend Fran, plus today I spent the morning viewing the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition at the Bristol Museum and drinking the sweet nectar that is a Rocotillos milkshake with my friend Beth.
  • Finally, for any film buffs out there, the lovely Ceri has just started a blog to chronicle her new venture/resolution – to watch 365 films in 365 days. If you’re an Empire magazine junkie as much as she is, you should take a look!
